Assessing a Partnership

  • "Assessing Your Partnership" from the North Central Regional Education Laboratory
A brief but useful scale for generally evaluating a partnership.

  • Assessing Your Collaboration: A Self Evaluation Tool
This "tool is a self-assessment exercise allowing groups to rate their collaboration on key factors. Key factors examined here include goals, communication, sustainability, evaluation, political climate, resources, catalysts, policies/laws/regulations, history, connectedness, leadership, community development, and understanding community."

  • The Wilder Collaboration Factors Inventory
This inventory is a practical tool for discovering how your collaboration is doing on the twenty factors that research has shown influences success. The inventory takes about fifteen minutes to complete. It can be distributed to a small group of leaders in the collaborative, during a general meeting, or via mail to all members for the most complete picture. While these materials largely focus on collaboration among same-sector organizations, we believe that these questions and influential factors are applicable to nonprofit and business alliances.
